    of course there are …
    of course there are many..but they are not majority. many Jews came from Former Soviet Union in 1990s. before they came, Sephardim were like 70% maybe 75% of Israel. but these new Soviet Jews are not treated all that well by other Israelis. it is kinda sad they have trouble assimilating into Israeli society because they are only Russian-speaking and many know little about their faith since Soviets persecuted religious people, especially Jews. as result, many have no good jobs.

    umm I think you are wrong!! considering I would know since I am actually from Israel. asheknazi aren’t converts! they are Germanic Jews! from roman empire times. dna shows they are closest related to Mizrahi/Sephardi Jews than any other people in the world. they all have j1 or j2 haplgroups
