I think this political correctness thing has gone too far, this being a prime example. We are a God fearing nation and respect all religions. Why not respect the bible also?

I think you are right.. If they want to use this code in their serial number or id then why is it a big deal..
If Muslims were doing this it would not be a big deal. we would either buy the product or not & this scope seems to be the best and most asked for scope around..

   Agreed. PC has gone too far. So long as the scope works (i.e. helps them kill the bad guy) who cares what it’s inscribed with, or what color it is, or what shape it is.

   I think the enemy will be more offended by the fact that one of our guys shot them rather than knowing they were shot by a rifle with a bible verse reference.

   First of all, not everyone in the US military is Christian. It’s kind of rude to expect a Muslim soldier to use a weapon with Biblical verses. If you were a Christian soldier, wouldn’t you be upset using a weapon that had verses from the Koran on it? How about if it had the statement "There is no God, but God," on it, which is used to reject the divinity of Jesus?

   Second, a lot of theses scopes we may give to our allies in Iraq and Afghanistan. The vast majority of them are Muslim, and it would not be appropriate to request that they use them.

   It is just a code. No verses are printed there. You mean by these codes soldiers or even other civilians will become ‘confused’ & convert to Christianity? They probably need to put Osama’s picture on these guns so that the soldiers know who are gunning after.

   If I was using a scope with a verse from the Koran on it, I would ask Jesus (my Creator) to help me hit the terrorist target.
