If I said that it …
If I said that it was the “Saudi Arabian Penninsula” then I was wrong, you are correct, but I don’t think I said it was Suadi Arabian. You are also correct that these inscriptions are Semitic, the precurser to Hebrew. I just did not clarify this here but I will be in my next video, part 14 of the series “A History of Hebrew.”

Serabit el Khadim …
Serabit el Khadim is _not_ in the “Saudi Arabian Peninsula,” its in the _Sinai_ Peninsula. The earliest Hebrew script is according to PhD scholars no earlier than the 10th century BC. The earlier scripts presented in this video are _not_ called Hebrew by scholars they are “predecessors” from which Hebrew later evolved. Some are called Proto-sinaitic script after the Serabit el Khadim inscriptions dated to the 12th dynasty of Egypt.

Strange, but the …
Strange, but the example you cited at 1:40, did you know that it is referring to Hathor, death to Baalat that is the Serpent Lady…? You know, if Moses was here alive with us he wouldnt be pleased with those people who wrote such contemptuous message just next to their gold mine quarry.
And if I were you I would think twice before using such scripture as an example to teach the ancient Hebrew language…and you know what I mean?
